\u201cThe kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.\u201d \u00a0(Mathew 13, 24-25)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This parable is an accurate description of life itself. While some of us make an effort to do well, others go behind planting discord, doing evil, destroying the work that others have done. And since it is easier to destroy than to build, we frequently have the impression that evil advances and that good always looses ground. This usually discourages us and even causes crisis of faith, and frequently – as in the parable -, we ask the Lord why He allows it, why He doesn\u2019t intervene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 God has his time and, certainly, it isn\u2019t ours. We must have faith in Him, since he knows what he is doing. But we can and should do more. It is not enough to not become discouraged, we must go into action and try to beat the evil with the good. We must work more quickly than our enemies and for this we should think in the wonderful salary which Christ has promised us: eternal life. What wouldn\u2019t we do for money?\u00a0 Wouldn\u2019t we forgive, wouldn\u2019t we help, and wouldn\u2019t we be at the side of he who suffers?\u00a0 And if we would do this for more or less large sums of money, why not do it for the love of God who is our Creator, who gave his life for us – let us not forget – is he going to judge us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intention<\/u><\/strong>: Beat evil with the strength of good. Establish concrete intentions within our reach, to not fall into generalization and vagueness.\u00a0 And to not dismay!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
