The German Church, on assisted suicide

05.04.2024.

Now that the great days of Holy Week and Easter have passed, with the certainty left by the Lord’s Resurrection that God has not abandoned his people, nor will he ever abandon them, it is necessary to return to the harsh reality of the Church’s daily life, especially what is happening in Germany, because that is the model, the mirror in which all those who want to leave Revelation behind as something outdated, to submit to the world, look at themselves. I would like to begin today by reading a testimony, written to me by a woman, a Latin woman who lives in Germany, she belongs to the Diocese of Aachen, the Diocese of Acquisgranen, and she tells me what happened to her, what happened to her during the Easter Vigil. I know this lady, and I am sure of the authenticity, of the truth of what she writes to me. “I come from the Jakob Kirchen Church in Aachen, the Mass of Resurrection – she refers to the Easter Vigil – began at 9 o’clock in the evening, they began to read Genesis – it is one of the readings that are obligatory at the Vigil – but they said that it was an updated summary, so I got scared, when they got to the part where it says that God created man and woman they added Gender Ideology, saying that God created women who were attracted to women and men who are attracted to men, I got up from my seat and said: ‘that’s not Catholic, that’s another religion’, the woman reading ignored me and continued reading. A man-like woman came out and told me to leave the church, so I left. I literally felt excommunicated, when I got home, I started crying with impotence, because I had been thrown out of the church, and because of the fact that from the elders to the children they are accepting these teachings”.

In that same diocese in Aachen, the bishop of this diocese this week announced that out of the 326 parishes that exist right now, in four years there will only be eight left. The rest will be sold to be transformed into anything, restaurants, discotheques, museums. Or they will simply be reduced to chapels where there will be some pastoral assistants who will celebrate the Mass or a substitute for the Mass, of 326 will be reduced to eight in four years. The same diocese where this lady lives and where she tells me this testimony and where she is expelled from the Church for asking that the Word of God be read as it is in the Bible.

This is not a unique case. The bishop of Berlin, Archbishop Koch, who is an interesting character, I will tell his story later, this week he also said that not having priestesses, no longer deaconesses, no, priestesses, it is something that makes evangelization very difficult. I don’t know why they would want women priests if from 320 parishes they leave 8, they have more than enough with the few priests they have.

Also, this week Monsignor Bätzing, the president of the Bishops’ Conference, said that he would very much like to ordain deaconesses, first that, and then priestesses, and he did not say to establish women as deaconesses as a service, no, he said to ordain deaconesses, because the objective is to ordain priestesses, and then, of course, bishopesses and more.

The church in Germany, in Austria, in Belgium, in Switzerland, and perhaps also in other surrounding countries, Holanda, or some areas, or many areas of France, she is not seriously ill, she is already dying, with assisted breathing. But it must be said that it is not something that has just happened, but is the fruit of a suicide, that is to say, something deliberate that is an assisted, tolerated and even encouraged suicide.

They want priestesses to begin with, you have to think that what they really want is women bishops, bishopesses and one day a papisa. They want priestesses, but there are already many churches in Germany where in the celebration of the mass at the altar there is a woman dressed as a priest, not only with the alb, but with the alb and the stole, who is concelebrating with the priest at the altar, and in many churches there are women who celebrate the Word, read the gospel, give the homily, as if she were a deacon, an ordained deacon, with the first degree of the priesthood, of course, dressed with the alb, with the stole, and sometimes even with the chasuble, this is normal in many churches in Germany, it is normal that what happened in Aachen happens also in other places, it is normal that in the education that is given, the Gender Ideology is accepted, and things contrary to the doctrine of the Church regarding the sixth commandment, or even the fifth commandment, are questioned or taught, this is normal. That is to say, it is not an extraordinary, rare issue of a parish, it is something common in many, many places, it is not something that those who have responsibility ignore, it is something that they know, that they encourage or at least that they allow, moreover, it is not a new thing.

When one looks at the genealogy, the history of the various bishops, when one tells that, for example, the current Bishop of Aachen, Bishop Dieser, was ordained a bishop by Pope Benedict XVI in 2011. Monsignor Kock, the Archbishop of Berlin, who has said that without priestesses it is difficult to evangelize, Koch was ordained auxiliary bishop of Cologne in 2006 by Benedict XVI, the titular bishop being Cardinal Meisner, a close friend of Pope Benedict, he did not know him. Cardinal Marx. In exactly the same line, Cardinal Marx was appointed bishop in 1996 by St. John Paul II and in 2007 Benedict XVI appointed him Archbishop of Munich, and in 2010 he was named Cardinal. Monsignor Bätzing on the other hand has been appointed bishop by Pope Francis, is that these bishops, these Popes who have appointed these bishops, I have mentioned the last three, did they not know who they were appointing? and the respective Nuncios who recommended them, did they not know who they were recommending to be appointed bishops?

The situation is so serious that in the year 2022, these are the latest data we have, those of 2023 will be known in a few months, in the year 2022, more than half a million Catholics officially apostatized from the Church, with a percentage that increases enormously from year to year, we will see what happens when the data of 2023 are known, very probably it will be higher.

In the German Church as a whole, among the few remaining Catholics, only 6% are practicing, and in some dioceses this percentage does not reach 3%. I insist, it is a Church that is already in assisted respiration, it is a dying Church, but that is not the worst thing, that is very serious, the worst thing is that this dying Church is being presented as the model for the rest of the Church, it is being presented as what we all have to imitate, instead of saying ‘this is wrong, and the causes are that since many years ago, not only the last few years, I have mentioned John Paul II appointing Cardinal Marx as bishop and I have mentioned Benedict XVI appointing Koch, auxiliary of his close friend, and Dieser as bishops, that is, for many years, this situation has been tolerated and even promoted and now presented as a model for all, a model of a dying church, is that what we have to accept?

In life we must ask ourselves what is happening. Ortega y Gasset said that what happens is that we do not know what happens to us. But it is much more important to ask ourselves and find out why what is happening to us is happening.

Why is this being tolerated? Why is it being encouraged? Why is nothing being done? Most of the few Catholics who still go to Mass, that 3% , terrible figure or six in the country as a whole, most of them agree with the more liberal theses, from the acceptance of abortion under certain conditions to the whole gender ideology, the female priesthood, etc. The truth is this, most of them agree with it. And the few who do not agree, who thinks about them? They have to go home to cry when they are expelled from the Church because they have asked to read the Word of God as it is in the Bible, they have to go home to cry after being expelled from the Church. And that is for those who dare to say something, because many, a very high percentage of those who apostatize every year, simply leave the Church, because what is offered to them in the Church is neither the Word of God nor the message of revelation. Is the Church in Germany dying? But this is the chronicle of an assisted suicide, tolerated and promoted, and one must ask why.

In the meantime. Let us pray. Let us pray for what is left of the Church in Germany. Let us pray that it does not present itself as a model to imitate. And let us pray for the poor and suffering Catholics who live there and want to remain faithful to Jesus Christ.

Until next week, God willing.
